    Not Great

    Very slow, VERY.

We bought 10, they are slow, like 5 minutes to log in slow.. . The battery performance dipped substantially and at this point we have two that wont turn on even when plugged in.

    Viruses

Cool little device but you should first wipe and format the drive as it comes preinstalled with the ravs.b virus/worm. Worm infects as soon as connected to Wi-Fi so be warned. Works with fedora 38 and Ubuntu. I may put a clean copy of windows back on it just to see how it runs.

Nice tablet but way over priced

I was not sure about the Higolepc 10.1" Windows 10 Pro tablet at first and at some points I'm still not totally sure. I was glad to see that it will upgrade to Windows 11 Pro free so you can get a fresh install of Windows and the latest version with all updates for several years. Even though the processor is "slow" compared modern desktop computers, this unit is only running as a tablet so it doesn't require much processing speed just like a phone does not. The speed is actually pretty good considering. I suppose the 8G RAM is also a contributing factor in this. While it's not built for gaming due to the processor. I am considering opening it to see if I can install a larger SSD. Speaking of, the speed would be better if it were an NVME, but from crystal disk tests, it only performs as an M2 SSD would so I'm sure that's what it comes with. There are a couple of other points worth mentioning; 1 the speakers are crap! At this price point you would expect halfway decent speakers. This does NOT have them. Even streaming Netflix or over the air channels through HDHomeRun it sounds bad. I removed a star for that since even if I open it, I cannot fix that problem. If you plan to stream TV/shows from this make sure you have a good blue tooth speaker already. The picture quality is good so no complaints there. It makes a strange click sound every now and then which is also why I would like to open it to see if I can replace the SSD to see if that is why. This tablet is built tough and has a screen protector pre-installed, but being built tough also means it is heavy. It comes with a hand strap and a carry chain/handle so it is easily used in different environments, but it also gets very warm to hot on the hand. Windows tablets are different than Android tablets as far as size/touch space goes so you would be better off getting a stylus which I did and there is even a little pocket on the back of the hand strap to hold it. Overall, this is a good Windows tablet, but I removed another star for the price point. At this price point, you could get a Microsoft manufactured tablet that would very likely run better. and sound better without a doubt That in mind, I would recommend the Microsoft option over this tablet. This tablet is good for simple tasks such as word processing, MS Excel, Word, email, general browsing, etc but not for much else. Since I received this as a Vine item I am only paying income taxes on it, if I had paid "full price" I would have retuned it for a refund.

    ✅ A nice little computer

It has an Intel N4120 processor that is actually quite fast considering how little power it sips.
Not sure why another reviewer was unhappy with the base speed of the processor. IIRC, the Intel N4120 has always had this speed.
Besides faster processor = shorter battery life.
This isn’t going to be as fast as a desktop pc. If it was the battery would last maybe 10 minutes.

Think about what you are going to use it for…
